Saskatchewan electrical contractors must give the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan (TSASK) a guarantee bond to get or keep a licence. TSASK posts the bond wording as a template. The penal sum is $10,000, or $30,000 for a contractor who has already had a claim against, or a payment under, a guarantee bond.

TSASK says its sample “is for contractor’s/insurer’s communication only and will not be accepted in lieu of a bond.” It is still the regulator’s own posted wording: the surety issues the real bond, signed and sealed, on these terms. Global Guarantors summarizes the fields and links the PDF rather than hosting the bond body.
TSASK accepts electronic bonds when all of these are met:
Technical Safety BC also asks electrical contractors for $10,000, but posts no wording and has no $30,000 tier — see the Technical Safety BC electrical contractor licence bond. Yukon’s figure is much lower: the Yukon electrical contractor’s licence bond is $1,000. For how licence bonds work in general, read our commercial surety primer.
